Loudio named in InnoEx 2026 Innovation Award
Loudio received an Innovation Award at InnoEx 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City. The award went to three startups. Loudio was one of them.
InnoEx ran on 19-20 August at Thiskyhall Sala under the theme The Inflection Point – Where Global Shifts Fuel Business Reinvention. Organizers reported 30,156 visits, 315 exhibitors, 165 speakers, and nearly 30 sessions over two days.
The Innovation Award sits outside the big pitch contests. Organizers picked startups for how they build, how they might grow, and whether they can create new market value. Loudio was chosen on a different track from chips, robots, or green energy: software that runs the guest experience on site.
What Loudio does
Loudio is an AI music platform for cafes, restaurants, bars, gyms, spas, and chains. Guests scan a QR code to view the playlist, vote, or request a song. The venue still controls the vibe, the brand, and the content rules. It plugs into speakers already in the room. No extra hardware. It also helps venues run licensed music.
The company says more than 200 venues use it. Figures they publish:
guests stay about 54% longer
average spend rises about 25%
92% are satisfied with the music
3 in 4 prefer venues that use Loudio
A chain manager in Ho Chi Minh City said guests stay longer because they help pick the music, and revenue rose about 20%.
In F&B and services, background music is often treated as a side cost. Easy to get the license wrong. Hard to measure. Loudio turns that into interaction and extra revenue: paid priority requests, song dedications, in-venue promos.
Why the award matters
InnoEx 2026 brought CEOs, funds, tech firms, and startups from about 60 countries. A product that runs music in venues sat next to AI, green, and operations pitches. That says the organizers also look at innovation at the point of sale, where Vietnamese businesses meet customers every day.
The award opens more doors inside the InnoEx network and with international partners working on tech, AI, and company growth. Next steps for Loudio are usually the same: more chain locations, cleaner commercial music licensing, and using what guests play to run the room, not just fill a playlist.
InnoEx 2026 closed on a simple point. The next edge is not only new technology. It is technology that turns into revenue and an experience you can measure. That is the path Loudio is on.
